Brainstorm Genie is a file that runs in your web browser. Your ideas, prompts, history, saved projects, settings and API keys are stored only in that browser on your computer, and in any files you choose to export. We cannot see them.
Your prompt goes directly from your browser to the AI company you chose (Anthropic, OpenAI or xAI) with your key. It does not pass through us. That company’s own privacy policy applies: Anthropic · OpenAI · xAI.
Your first 5 wishes don’t need a key. For those, the text you write (your idea and any background) passes through our server to Anthropic, which writes your prompt. Our server does not store that text. It stores only:
Once a day the app asks our server for the latest version number so it can tell you when an update is out. It sends no personal information.
Lemon Squeezy handles downloads and payments and collects your name, email and payment details. We receive your name, email and order details. We use your email to send your receipt, your license key and product updates. You can unsubscribe from update emails at any time with the link in each email. Lemon Squeezy’s privacy policy covers how they handle payments.
Brainstorm Genie is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
You can delete everything the app stores by clearing History in the app or clearing your browser’s site data. To ask what we hold about you (your email and order) or to have it deleted, email support@brainstormgenie.app.
If we change this policy we’ll update the date above, and tell customers by email about any important change.
Brainstorm Genie (free) may be used and shared for any lawful purpose. Brainstorm Genie Pro is licensed to the buyer for use on up to 3 of their own computers; please don’t resell or redistribute the Pro file or your license key.
You own the prompts and plans you make with Brainstorm Genie and anything you create with them. You’re responsible for how you use them, and for following the terms of the AI and video services you use.
AI can be wrong. Review prompts and anything an AI produces before relying on it. Cost and time estimates in the app are approximate; check each provider’s current pricing.
Anthropic, OpenAI, xAI, video tools and Lemon Squeezy are separate companies with their own terms and charges. We aren’t responsible for their services or fees.
Free wishes are a courtesy and may be limited, paused or changed. Please don’t try to get around the limits.
The software is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Brainstorm Genie Pro.
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version.
